Job description

Location: Mansurpur Unit, Mansurpur (UP)

DBO seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to statutory regulations and promote harmonious relations between management and employees. The ideal candidate will advise on legal obligations, interpret company policies, and provide guidance on welfare measures to enhance the work environment. The role requires effective communication skills to liaise between management and workers and resolve any grievances that may arise.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Advise management and relevant departments on compliance with the Factories Act, 1948, including regulations on working hours, paid holidays, leaves, medical care, maternity benefits, and other welfare measures Act as a liaison between management and workers, facilitating discussions on grievances and promoting harmonious relations within the workplace Interpret provisions of relevant acts such as the Factories Act, PF, ESI, Maternity Act, and company policies to ensure understanding among workers and raise awareness Recommend measures to improve welfare facilities, including hygiene, sanitation, medical facilities, restrooms, transport, and overall working conditions Provide counseling to workers on unauthorized absenteeism, disciplinary matters, accident prevention, and personal/family issues, aiming to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment Supervise the functioning of various committees such as canteen, safety, and welfare committees, ensuring their effectiveness in promoting employee well-being Oversee the proper functioning of facilities like ambulance rooms, canteens, first aid boxes, and drinking water supply, in compliance with relevant regulations Fulfil any additional responsibilities as specified in A.P. Factories Rules, 1950, or as deemed relevant to the role

Requires Skills & Education Qualifications: Master of Social Work (MSW) degree is required to demonstrate expertise in handling employee relations and welfare matters Minimum 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a solid understanding of statutory compliances Proficiency in Hindi language to effectively communicate with workers Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships between management and employees
