Job description
Business : POLYETHYLENE (PE) MANUFACTURING OF BATTERY SEPARATORS
Department Manufacturing – Production
Location : Dahej, Gujarat
Responsibilities -Foster culture of Safety and quality amogst the productionTeam memebers and couarge to stop incase any unsafe practices followed in work area.
-Responsible for driving 5S and Operational Excellance related intivatives in work area.
-Follow standard safe work practices and issue the maintenace job slip inconsulation with supervisor
-Ability to work without supervision, clear focused, ethical and follow the std work plan.
-To execute day to day operational activities by following standard operating procedures and work related instructions in safe and compliant manner.
-Follow the safety and quality instructions while executing day-to-day shift production activities.
-Take ownership for safety and quality related compliance execution in respective work areas as per defined company standards.
-Maintain shift wise logbooks as per defined standard /operating procedure/ work instructions.
-Participate and contribute in operational excellence related initiatives at shop floor.
-Maintain excellent 5S /housekeeping standards in respective work area.
-Ensure timely training and coaching to contract workers to foster safe work environment at shop floor
-Ensure reporting any deviation / abnormalities to shift supervisor.
-Ownership for effective resource utilization, losses elimination, reporting, and preventing any unsafe behavior in respective work area.
-Ensure waste / rejection / safe storage as per defined procedures.
-Ensure correct data entry (production volume, downtime, rejections) and proper labelling & storage of product as per quality disposition.
*Administration*
-System Knowledge: MS Office, SAP/ ERP
-Collaboration: Work closely with Process/ maintenance/ Quality etc.
-Personal Qualities: Assertive, Creative, Passionate, High Energy Drive
Education and Experience
*Education*
-ITI AOCP / Fitter / Electrical with 4-5 years of experience handling the production machines independently.
-Preferably in Engineering Industries.
*Professional experience*
-Experience in Machine Operations, Mechanical Maintenance activities.
-Evaluate situation and create action plan that complies with safety and quality standards.
-Evaluate situation and act as per trouble shooting guidelines to comply with safety and quality standards.
-Data analysis understanding (yield, downtime, productivity)
*Know-how*-Basic understanding of ISO 9001/ 14001/ OHSAS management system
-Understating of problem solving tools / approaches like (RCA, WHY WHY Analysis etc).
