We are seeking a talented and creative Storyboard and Matte Paint Artist to join our VFX team. As a Storyboard and
Matte Paint Artist, you will play a crucial role in visualizing and creating compelling scenes that enhance the overall
visual aesthetics of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Storyboarding:
Create detailed storyboards that align with the project's vision and narrative.
Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the project requirements.
Provide artistic input to enhance the storytelling and visual appeal of the sequences.
Matte Painting:
Develop high-quality matte paintings for use in visual effects sequences.
Integrate matte paintings seamlessly into live-action plates, ensuring a realistic and cohesive visual experience.
Work closely with the VFX Supervisor and other artists to achieve the desired visual style.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other artists and departments to ensure consistency in visual storytelling across all elements.
Communicate effectively with team members to understand project timelines and deliverables.
Technical Proficiency:
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in matte painting and VFX techniques.
Utilize industry-standard software and tools to achieve desired effects.
Problem Solving:
Identify and address challenges in the production process, offering creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Storyboard and Matte Paint Artist in the VFX industry.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and other relevant tools.
Strong artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in storyboarding and matte painting.
