Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Prepress Incharge to join our team at Kukulkan Manpower Consultancy. As the Prepress Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing the prepress department and ensuring efficient and accurate processing of print orders. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in prepress operations. The role is based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, and is a full-time employment opportunity.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in prepress operations
- Proficiency in CTP operation and layout setup
- Strong knowledge of color correction techniques
- Experience with offset printing processes
- Familiarity with carbon offsets and sustainability practices
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the prepress department and ensure efficient and accurate processing of print orders
- Manage and coordinate prepress workflow, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Review and verify print files for accuracy and adherence to company standards
- Perform preflight checks to identify and resolve any potential issues
- Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize file setup for printing
- Ensure color consistency and accuracy through color correction techniques
- Operate and maintain CTP (Computer-to-Plate) equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to prepress
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in prepress technology
