Responsibilities Manage all accounting transaction Publish financial statements in time Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely bank payments Compute taxes and prepare tax returns Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Audit financial transactions and documents Tally data entry including sales, purchase, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation statement, and preparation of debtors / creditors statements. . Maintain accounting records, making copies, filing documents, etc. Thorough with statutory compliance of deducted and collected taxes viz Service Tax, TDS, Profession tax. Run Payroll for karigars and employees Knowledge of returns for e-TDS, Service Tax, Profession tax. Ensuring business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes Qualifications 5 years' of professional accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel & Word) & Tally 9 is a must Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and ability to deal with customers and external contacts.
