Job description
We are looking for a Chief Manager – Commercial Vehicle Strategy who is responsible for overseeing and managing all strategic initiatives, and operational and technological aspects of the commercial vehicle finance division.
Department: Digital Strategy Reports to: Strategy Head Location : Chennai (Alwarpet) Roles & Responsibilities: · The role requires a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle finance industry operational excellence, and the ability to leverage technology to drive efficiency and growth. · Develop and implement the operations and technology strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives. · Continuous strategic innovations on all different types of Loans including but not limited to Used Commercial vehicles/ New Commercial vehicles/ Balance Transfer/ Top-Up loans, Auxiliary loans like Tour Finance, Tyre Finance, Toll finance, Tank finance, Tax finance, etc. · Drive innovation and continuous improvement in operational processes and technology solutions. · Oversee the end-to-end operational processes related to commercial vehicle financing, including loan origination, underwriting, disbursement, and collection. · Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. · Lead the development and implementation of technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience · Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to team members to foster professional growth and development. · Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, finance, and risk management, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of business initiatives. · Engage with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies as required. · Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of operations and technology initiatives. · Analyse data and generate insights to drive informed decision-making and strategy adjustments. Requirements/Qualifications: · Strong understanding of commercial vehicle financing products, processes, and regulatory requirements. · Strong understanding of commercial vehicle finance on a wide range of vehicles – ranging from 1.5-tonne to 49-tonne GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) consisting of Buses, Trucks, Tractors, Tankers, Tippers, Transit mixers, Tempos, Construction equipment, Farm Equipment, Passenger Vehicles, Private Car, Cargo Vehicles etc. · Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on commercial vehicle finance · Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. · Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skill sets · Bachelor degree in B.Tech/ MCA/ Statistics and MBA would be an added advantage · Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. · Quick problem-solving capabilities. Lead project team to deliver projects on time with client's satisfaction. · Must have the ability to work effectively within a team and be flexible to work on multiple projects · Self-starter, with demonstrable ability to work proactively and independently to drive results · A leader possessing the highest levels of ethics, values, and integrity · Should have a “Can do attitude” Interested candidates can share their profiles with [email protected]Job tags
