Role Description :This is a full time role at Data meadows and works directly with our client at Onsite,Mumbai LocationThe candidate should have a combination of technical expertise, problem solving abilities, and effective communication skills.Summary :Data Architect with experience in setting up data architecture, GCP experience, and Data mesh architectureKey Responsibilities :- Architect and design end to end data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform, focusing on data warehousing and big data platforms.- Collaborate with clients, developers, and architecture teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.- Develop high level and detailed data architecture and design documentation.- Implement data security frameworks and enterprise data architecture best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.- Implement data management and data governance strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.- Work with data flows, taxonomy, lineage, and virtualization techniques to optimise data operations and organisation.- Apply your expertise in data modelling using tools such as Erwin to create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.- Architect both batch and realtime data solutions, leveraging GCP services and technologies.- Manage metadata and documentation using Erwin's modelling and data cataloguing capabilities.- Collaborate with business analysts to understand domain data requirements and incorporate them into the design deliverables.- Stay updated on the latest advancements in GCP services, data architecture, and data management techniques.- Drive innovation in data analytics by leveraging cutting edge technologies and methodologies.- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively.Qualifications :- 7+ years of overall experience in a Data Architect role, supporting warehouse and big data platforms/environments.- 5+ years of experience working in an Enterprise/Senior Data Architect role, including with Cloud data platforms.- Strong expertise in data exploration using SQL and a deep understanding of data relationships.- Extensive knowledge and implementation experience in data management, governance, and security frameworks.- Proven experience in creating high-level and detailed data architecture and design documentation.- Strong aptitude for business analysis to understand domain data requirements.- Proficiency in Data Warehouse Data Modeling using Erwin, including Data Flow, ER diagrams, and Conceptual, Logical, and Physical models.- Hands-on experience with architecting end-to-end data solutions for both batch and real-time designs.- Familiarity with metadata and documentation management using Erwin and data cataloguing techniques.- Previous experience with Teradata and GCP platforms for data curation and analytics use cases.- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, developers, and architecture teams to implement enterprise-level data solutions.- Preferred experience with GCP, including BigQuery, and Teradata implementation.- Familiarity with Data Fabric and Data Mesh architecture is a plus.- Knowledge of Starburst (data virtualization) and IBM Cloud Pak (data governance) is preferred.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ref:hirist.tech)
