Job description
You will be playing the role of a Technical Project Manager who is responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives with the Retail Lending space primarily in Finnone Collections. You will need to ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. As a Technical Project Manager you will be considered as the lead subject matter expert within the company regarding technology concerns for this system.
- Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate across multiple in-flight programs, and in collaboration with cross-functional Partners
- Define and analyze problem statements and translate into tangible solutions
- Own end-to-end implementation projects including assessment, planning, project management, execution and evaluation for third party vendors
- Analysis and prioritization of alternative solutions to drive results
- Monitor and communicate performance of implemented changes to support adoption
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Be the single point of contact for the Collections vertical within Retail Lending technology and work with their key business stakeholders
- 10 - 16 years in tech project management with experience in managing complex projects and applications in Retail lending specifically in Finnone Collections or Power Curve Collections
- Strong in communication, orientation and stakeholder management. Should able to represent IT with senior business leaders.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Sound experience in team, people and conflict management.
- Should possess the ability to do the activities listed below
- New technical requirements are properly integrated with existing processes
- Participate during requirement gathering
- Write technical requirements from a critical phase
- Interact with vendors to understand and execute the project
- Assist programmers during system development, ex: provide use cases, flowcharts or even database design
- Responsible for system testing (SIT, Performance, security testing)
- Responsible for designing components and providing that information to the developer.
- Monitoring system compliance in accordance with IT policy standards.
- Responsible for operational and Maintenance activities of the system
- Evaluate alternative solutions to business problems and select preferred solution. Justify selection.
- Working experience/ Awareness in some of the following technology skills:
- Finnone Collections or Power Curve Collections development experience is mandatory
- RDBMS: Oracle 12c/19c – for pl/sql OR MSSQL.
Operating Systems: RHEL, AIX, Solaris, Windows Servers.
