Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ecommerce Head to lead and scale up our online business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the ecommerce strategy, achieving P&L targets, and expanding our digital footprint. This role is based in Kolkata and requires a leader with a proven track record of scaling up ecommerce businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ecommerce Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on scalability and profitability.
- P&L Management: Take ownership of the ecommerce P&L, set financial targets, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing ecommerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Scaling Operations: Drive the expansion of our ecommerce operations across India, ensuring seamless integration with existing omnichannel processes.
- Customer Experience: Prioritize and enhance the online customer experience, implementing best practices for user interface, navigation, and overall satisfaction.
- - Partnership Development: Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to optimize ecommerce operations and enhance the overall value proposition.
- - Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the ecommerce landscape.
- - Performance Analytics: Utilize data analytics and insights to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in ecommerce/D2C, with a focus on scaling up businesses.
- Proven track record of achieving P&L targets and scaling ecommerce operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth understanding of the ecommerce landscape, technologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
