Job description
Key Responsibilities
Shall be responsible for:
- Defining new UBR Products that should be taken up for development.
- Defining the specifications of HFCL UBR Products based on customer requirements, industry trends and competition.
- Understanding UBR standards and contributing standard forums
- Defining Go-to-market strategy for each product
- Prioritizing the feature set development to align the R&D efforts with customer requirements for all UBR products.
- Managing the complete product life cycle from conceptualization, development, time to market, manufacturing, support, and end of life (EOL)
- Coordinating with Sales, pre-sales, customer, R&D and operations support teams ensuring feature development is correctly prioritized for maximizing business
- Defining innovative pricing strategies for different customers / partners / distributors, etc.
- Ensure profitability
- EMS/Monitoring tools end to end delivery, including MRD, PRD, Licensing and documentation.
Key Deliverables
- New product ideas
- Innovation in existing products for improvement and cost optimization
- UBR Product definition based on
- customer requirements,
- industry trends, and
- competitive intelligence.
- Detailed feature and system specifications for each product
- Deep Customer engagement ensuring customer requirements are managed
- Ensuring R&D priorities are well defined
- Ensuring product revenues and profitability
Mandatory Skills/ Certification
- Experience in Wi-Fi5 and Wi-Fi6 product definitions
- Experience in managing product life cycle for UBR products
- Must have worked in a UBR product OEM/BSO/ISPs
- Hand-on experiencing in testing and evaluating UBR
- Thorough knowledge of Wi-Fi technology and WiFi standards
- Experience in handling UBR network deployment / management
- Experience in troubleshooting UBR links
