Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Draftsperson at Alara Studio in Chennai. The Draftsperson will be responsible for creating detailed drawings using computer software, working with architects and engineers, making revisions to designs as necessary, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of drawings. The Draftsperson will also need to communicate effectively with the design team and clients to ensure successful completion of projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Enscape, Lumion , and SketchUp
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other design professionals
• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Drafting or related field
• Experience in the architecture or construction industry - Minimum of 6 years experience.
