Job description
- The candidate will be supporting the team and will be working with the social media marketing teams to support social media across Smart Ship Hub handles and platforms
- This will be end-to-end social media support encompassing all elements of modern-day social media management at a global organization
- The position is for a Social Media Community Manager
- The Community Manager will be responsible for managing the brands social media channels and communities, engaging users, and ensuring growth across these channels
- The candidate will need to actively engage with the business, and other teams to efficiently and timely manage these channels
- This position has top line responsibilities to ensure Demand Generation , Higher number of Prospective customer connects , Higher in bound leads, Brand recognition across key online platforms such as LinkedIn
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring scheduled (daily, weekly fortnightly) activities are taken for specific geography such as Europe, MEA, Asean, North Americas, Japan.
- Work on daily monitoring and engagement of the Smart Ship Hub accounts
- Ensuring content availability competing with the best in the market. Content would include written posts, images, videos , interviews and entire range of competitor benchmarking activities
- Moderate and respond to community activities
- Be updated with the competitors social media channels and content flow
- Define engagement strategies to grow communities on various social media channels
- Connect with the brand and other teams as part of the process
- Understand, support, implement, and adhere to the quality standards and procedures established by Smart Ship Hub and branding guidelines
- High level of engaging content distribution through blogs, LinkedIn, Yourtube, Twitter, Facebook and other channels
- Be proactive in foreseeing potential challenges and propose solutions
Skills Attributes for Success:
- Must have worked on each of the areas mentioned above in Key Responsibilities.
- Must have experience of promoting, marketing internationally/ globally (This is a must have requirement)
- Outstanding written and oral communications, a generous aptitude to learn the organizations pattern of communication and our client's motivation ( Outstanding communication : verbal and written is a must have requirement )
- Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across all levels and backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Up-to-date understanding of content trends of all the major social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
- Experience with Social Media Management Systems.
- Adept with the ORM skills and experience in engaging with users on social media
- Experience working with website content management systems (WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager etc.)
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Experience in key topics emerging in the consultancy and digital landscape
- Knowledge and expertise in digital marketing
Ideally, youll also have:
- Ability to hit the ground running and pick up new projects and processes quickly
- Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization is essential
- Experience leading a team of social media specialists
- Experience in coordination stakeholder management
- Knowledge and experience in influencer marketing
Technologies and Tools:
- Experience with Social Media Management Systems (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, etc.)
- MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Tracking social media insights through dashboards like Sprinklr, Facebook insights, Twitter insights, Adobe Experience Manager, etc
