Job description
One of our prestigious clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to hire an IT Contracting Specialist.
Job Purpose Responsible for handling and administrating all IT contracts to procure materials and services. The role involves the development of the Scope of Work, liaise with the Procurement function to evaluate, and finalize the contracts, monitoring of vendor performance, and maintaining all related documentation.
Your Responsibilities - Develop and review SOW, technical criteria, KPI and estimated budgets.
- Coordinate with PSCM to organize technical and commercial meetings.
- Receive purchased products and services and maintain up-to-date data in the system.
- Register and assign products, licenses to end user and ensure following the tagging procedure.
- Monitor and administer the contract renewals monitor and administer vendor payments as per the contract terms.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with the contract terms.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to Contracts.
- Generate contract reports and submit them to respective Department managers/Division Heads
- Communicate with contractors and vendors for the delivery and completion of milestones.
Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor of Science (BS) OR Bachelors degree in computer science.
Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations) IT Industry Accredited and related certificate e.g., ITIL, MCSA Or/And Contract & Commercial Management (CCM)
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)- Knowledge of Contracting and Procurement functions
- Knowledge of IT tools, products and services, software licensing.
- Familiar with Application usages such as IFS and AVEVA
- Knowledge of frameworks and standards associated with IT like ISO 12207, ISO 27001, NIST etc. is desirable.
Experience Minimum of 3-9 years of relevant experience handling Information Technology contracts and procurement.
Languages Good in Communication Skills (oral and written), Fluent in English Language.
Working Relations Internal Interactions Frequent contact with Division Heads and Managers for direction and guidance, and with PSCM for Contract award and administration.
External Interactions Frequent contact with contractors and vendors for product information and technical support.
