Job Description :We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated GDW Sr. Developer to take a pivotal role in our organization's data quality management initiatives. The GDW Sr. Developer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining data quality standards, policies, and best practices. They will play a key role in ensuring that our data assets are accurate, consistent, and compliant with industry regulations and organizational requirements.Responsibilities : - Conduct regular data quality assessments, profiling, and audits to identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and errors. Collaborate with the team to establish remediation plans.- Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and controls to ensure data quality and compliance with relevant regulations.- Expertise in data loads and determine the rules needed to elevate the data quality issues whenever loads happen.- Select, implement, and manage data quality tools and solutions to automate data validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes.- Lead efforts to standardize data formats, units, and naming conventions, promoting data consistency and accuracy across the organization.- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality processes, standards, and procedures for internal use and reference.- Define and track key data quality metrics, reporting regularly to management and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.- Develop and execute data remediation plans to address data quality issues, working closely with data owners and stakeholders.- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data quality management. Identify areas for continuous improvement and innovation within the data quality domain.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data science, business stakeholders, and IT, to understand data requirements and provide guidance on data quality improvements.Required Skills :- Proven experience in data quality management- Candidate should have strong SQL knowledge and Python.- Travel industry experience is essential- Proficiency in using data quality tools and software, such Informatica Data Quality, Talend Data Quality, or open-source data quality tools to automate data profiling, cleansing, and monitoring processes.- Expertise in data profiling techniques and tools to analyse data and identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and data quality issues within source data.- Proficiency in data cleansing techniques to remove or correct data anomalies and inconsistencies, including de-duplication and standardization.- Proficiency in data governance practices and principles.- Excellent leadership and team management skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.- Qualification: Graduates with computer science or equivalent.
