Experience:
5-10 Yrs experience in Backup/Restoration Platform (Commvault / NetBackup / Veritas and VEEAM Backup) with Windows Server Administration Education: Any Fulltime Bachelor Graduate in Computer Science Skills and Capabilities 1. Expertise knowledge in Commvault Administration 2. Hands on Experience Windows Server Administration 3. Knowledge in VEEAM Backups / Veritas 4. Knowledge in HPE/FUJISTU TAPE LIBRARY Management 5. ITILV3 Process oriented workflow. 6. Ability to Manage to L2 / L3 Activities Core Purpose of the Role: Experience on configuring backup type, Exchange, NDMP, SQL, Unix and Windows Professional Attributes Strong technical skills on CommVault and Metallic cloud admin. Experience on resolving the Auxiliary copy and data ageing backup job operations. Experience on VMWare and Agent level backup troubleshooting skills Experience on configuring backup type, Exchange, NDMP, SQL, Linux and Windows Professional Attributes. Strong knowledge on Backup Modules like Oracle, SQL Databases, VM Backups, NDMP and File Servers Planning and execution of Restoration drill as per defined policy for Applications/DB's and periodic restorations Image level. Well versed with configuring and maintaining CommServe, Media Agents and clients Competent in configuring Storage Policies and copies for deduplicated disk and tape libraries Competent in configuring Schedules and Schedule Policies for data management and administrative functions Competent in installation and configuration of Non-deduplicated and Deduplication Media Agents in Small to extra-large environments Competent in installation and configuration of disk and tape libraries Competent in installing, configuring and troubleshooting client backup/restore agents Experience in CommVault Maintenance Advantage incident submission and resolution Experience in CommVault upgrades, Service Pack and Hotfix deployment Experience in managing the CommServe Software Cache and Remote Caches Competent in resolving file and system level restore requests Knowledgeable in CommVault auditing, command line operations, logging and reporting features Role Accountabilities · Installation and Configuration of Commvault Media agents and Disk libraries. · Data protection and backup recovery solutions. · Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Database Backups -, SQL, Exchange · Produce regular reports for management to assist in cost recovery, capacity planning and consolidation · Plan for Media rotation, Management and Offsite Movement Scheduling of New Backups/ Modify existing Jobs · Expert in NAS Backup configurations and Backup troubleshooting and Restorations. · Hands on Experience in Configure Personal Directory Backup and Restorations. · Perform Periodical Image Restorations by Using VMWare Applications. · Expert in Configure Endpoint Backups (Laptops, Desktops, Instrument Connected Systems) and Restorations. · Perform Restores Backup Monitoring and Reporting Tool Installation · Troubleshoot Backup Failures. · Perform Bare metal Image Restorations on workstations from system state backup. · Handle issues related to CommVault Catalog databases, Storage Units, Policies, De-Duplication etc. · Very strong working knowledge of CommVault required · Thorough understanding of CommVault policy-drive backup/restore architecture and best practices required · Implement CommVault Deduplication.Job tags
