Job description
Inviting applications for "Redevelopment of Ahmedabad Railway station" Project for Principal SHE Manager position.
Responsibilities: Ensuring implementation of health and safety strategy at the project site. Assuring and advising the senior management/Employer on all issues related to health and safety. Creating awareness among workforce and management on health and safety policy, legislation and standards. Carrying out audit and inspection functions and keeping an eye on all incidents, proper documentation and investigation. Bring New Techniques for Improving Health & Safety for working personnel’s and for the project. Prepare Safety Reports. Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards. Oversee the applications for and receipt of necessary permits. Conducting staff training programs, awareness campaign at the project site and safety drills. Complete Oversight of Health, Safety and Environment oversight. Monitor and maintain all statutory clearances. Minimum Qualification Graduate Engineer with Valid NEBOSH Certification relevant to the project Minimum 15 years of overall experience Minimum 10 years of experience in similar relevant projects (Railways, Metro,commercial Buildings, Institutional real estate projects, Bus/Airport terminals) 8 years’ experience into similar positions Key Qualities and soft skills Work experience in both an independent and team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential Strong team player and effective team leader Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through patience, analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to read communication styles of team members and clients who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Excellent leadership and managerial skills Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.Job tags
