Experience and in depth knowledge of NETWORKER, Design, Implementation and maintenance of NETWORKER, Data Domain and Tape Library
Manage the backup and restoration of systems using (NETWORKER) Installing, Upgrading, and configuring Networker client Server in AIX, Linux & UNIX environment Installing, Upgrading, and configuring Backup Client in AIX, Linux & UNIX environment Daily corporate backups using Networker and NETWORKER software and monitoring of schedules for failed and missed backups. Disaster Recovery (DR) preparation and testing and same should be applied for Networker Support migration activities in the Backup environment using NETWORKER and Networker Fine tune and troubleshoot NETWORKER and Networker environment for optimal performance and resolve complex issues in a timely manner. Diagnose Networker and NETWORKER platform issues (server and client side) and provide Support in complex, business critical environment including physical and virtual infrastructure Produce basic project plans, root cause analysis documents, change/risk assessments, and product management documentation. Participate in Change meetings, post incident analysis and root cause analysis process. Experience in handling and mitigating the vulnerability issues. Managing EMC Networker; capable of independently planning and understanding Labels, Media, Devices, Groups, Clients & NBD. Managing Virtual Server backup through NETWORKER Participate in disaster recovery, planning, changes, upgrades, implementation and tests as scheduled. Support for technical consultation and inquiries from the other IT technical teams Troubleshooting backup failures and ensuring retentions of the backup as per Backup policy document Managing Tape Library and their operations Handling incidents and change management requests. Preparing necessary delivery reports & Performance Dashboards. Create and update documentation including daily backup reports. Provide expertise and work closely with project team to support the delivery of the projects. Understand the Backup & Recovery audit and customer s compliance.
