Functional details:

About the Position:

● Position: Grant Manager

● Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience and expertise

● Qualification: Degree in Social Sciences or Legal Education

● Work Experience: Minimum 5 Years of Industry Experience

Key Responsibilities:

Grantee Relationship Management:

● Develop and maintain a comprehensive tracking database, meticulously documenting technical and financial proposals, signed grant agreements with approved budgets, reporting timeframes, and periodicity, financial and technical reports, deliverables, and indicators.

● Ensure strict adherence to grantee guidelines, proposals, budgets, and reporting requirements throughout the grant lifecycle.

● Collaborate closely with the Finance Team to prepare, review, and finalize grant financial reports, meticulously reviewing documentation from fieldwork to ensure accuracy and compliance.

● Monitor all grant expenses, meticulously tracking expenditures against budgets, and providing regular updates on the status of grants to relevant stakeholders.

● Conduct thorough project progress monitoring, including regular travel to project locations and conducting meetings with Grantees and other stakeholders to assess and map project progress effectively.

Grantee Management and Program Support:

● Maintain and regularly update the Grantee database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of technical and financial proposals, signed grant agreements, reporting timeframes, financial and technical reports, and deliverables and indicators.

● Ensure timely disbursement of funds to Grantees and rigorous adherence to organizational policies and commitments throughout the grant lifecycle.

● Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial and expense reports submitted by Grantees, providing detailed feedback and guidance as necessary.

● Design and develop budgets and reporting formats for Grantees in meticulous alignment with programmatic goals and objectives.

● Review periodic financial reports shared by Grantees, ensuring strict compliance with Project Proposals and program deliverables.

● Provide proactive and hands-on support to Grantees in developing reporting and results frameworks meticulously aligned with programmatic goals and objectives.

● Identify critical knowledge gaps in partner and Grantee Organizations, providing tailored technical support and resources to ensure effective programmatic implementation.

● Assist in the implementation of robust monitoring and evaluations strategies within Grantee organizations, ensuring comprehensive and data-driven program assessment and improvement.

Planning and Coordination:

● Develop comprehensive knowledge and resource materials for the organization, its partners, and grantees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

● Lead and actively contribute to organizational developmental processes.

● Actively participate in all activities of Institution-Building and carry out tasks as assigned, including extensive travel for organizational work within or outside the country as and when needed.

● Collaborate closely with the Board to ideate and identify opportunities for innovative solutions suited for grants and grantees, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. ● Represent the organization effectively in external meetings, domestic and global forums, advocating for the organization's mission and objectives with passion and professionalism.
