Job description
Energy storage system sizing and system engineering design.
• Creation of engineering drawings including layouts and schematics.
• Assume role of project engineer for BESS element of projects when required.
• Provide technical support to deliver installations in conjunction with the Project Management and on-site Field Engineering Teams.
• Provide support to Field Engineering teams as required.
• Technical due diligence (e.g. in relation to energy storage products, or project/portfolio acquisitions) considering engineering, social, financial and safety-related matters.
• Work directly with modeling teams to facilitate the modeling simulations of energy storage and system optimisations.
• Input into the development and improvement of modeling tools related to energy storage and hybrid energy storage projects, including dispatch regimes for stacked use-cases.
