Job description
The Business Analyst will coordinate the development of small to large scale projects from conception to implementation. This position will analyze, design, and document system requirements with business area(s) sponsoring the project. Analyzes and documents current systems functions and recommends changes to existing applications or interfaces.

- Use requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project s scope

- Knowledge of proper requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, JAD/RAD sessions, use case development, process flow diagrams
- Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications, BRS, SRS, FSD docs
- Change management capabilities
- Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
- Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
- Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Candidate should have 1+ years of IT experience as a Business Analyst
Preferred Skills Experience - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; should be able to independently manage USA/UK based client calls
- Microsoft SQL experience/database querying capabilities strongly preferred
- Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Ability to work independently and with team
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
