Hiring for a
Operations Associate ( SCM , Logistics & Warehouse ) with a growing US based B2B startup end to end logistics & global compliance. Location - Remote Reporting - to Sr. Operation Manager Experience - 3+ Years Looking People from Logistics , D2C , with FMCG companies or e-commerce companies. Work hours - Usually working with European, Asian and time zones with 5 hour gap with EST. So roughly 6-8 AM EST ( 4:30 – 6:30 PM India time) to 2 - 4 PM EST ( 12:30- 2:30 AM India time) every day 3PL Management: o Work with the Merchant base and the internal Operations team to relay requests and troubleshoot any issues with the 3PLs. o Manage projects, escalate issues, and coordinate processes with 3PL partners to ensure service level agreements are met. o Develop and maintain relationships with 3PL providers, evaluating performance and compliance with contractual terms. Inventory Management : o Monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operations and avoid overstocking or stockouts. o Arrange freight and logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods. o Coordinate with 3PL partners for efficient pick and pack services. Client Management: o Ensure clients follow the Operations process. o Diagnose, escalate and resolve any issue that is identified. Carrier Management: o Source and configure shipping options to optimize transit times and reduce costs. o Measure and report on transit times and costs by destination and merchant to continuously improve logistics operations. Requirements & Preferences · Required: 3+ years in coordinating with logistics, supply chain and/or operational background · Required: Working with consumer goods in the past with FMCG companies or e-commerce · Required: Worked with global supply chain with 3PLs or logistics partners in many different jurisdictions. · Required: Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets to tie data together from various sources and diagnose any logistics-related issues · Preference: Worked at a startup or a DTC brand · Preference: Worked in the logistics industry such as shipping or inventory management · Preference: Proficient in SQL (Snowflake) and data visualization tools like SigmaJob tags
