Designation: Lead – Graphic Design
Function: Digital Learning (Instructional Design Focus)
Location: Hyderabad, India
Reporting: Director - Digital Learning
Purpose of the Role: The Associate Director will play a key role in supporting the Director in leading a diverse portfolio of high-quality digital learning solutions, with a specific emphasis on instructional design for video-based learning. Collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders, the role will focus on project management, ensuring the successful implementation of digital learning programs, particularly those incorporating video elements. This position will report directly to the Director of Digital Learning and will be based in Hyderabad, India.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- End-to-End Graphic Design for Video-Based eLearning:
- Lead the graphic design process for video-based eLearning content, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and brand standards.
- Collaborate with the instructional design team to create visually engaging graphics that enhance the overall learning experience.
- Pre-Production Planning:
- Work closely with the digital learning team and instructional designers during the pre-production phase to understand content requirements and design specifications.
- Contribute to the creation of visual storyboards and templates based on brand guidelines to guide the production of video-based courses.
- Studio Requirements:
- Define and communicate studio requirements for graphic design, ensuring that the necessary tools and resources are available to create high-quality visuals.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to assess and implement any studio upgrades or improvements.
- Collaboration with Vendors:
- Interface with external graphic design vendors to communicate project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and feedback to vendors to ensure graphic deliverables align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall visual appeal of eLearning content.
- Post-Production Enhancement:
- Collaborate with video editors and post-production teams to integrate graphics seamlessly into the final eLearning content.
- Iterate on graphic elements based on feedback and evaluation data to continuously improve visual quality.
- Brand Alignment:
- Ensure that all graphic elements align with the overall brand standards and visual identity of the organization.
- Work closely with the Digital Learning team to reinforce the brand throughout the eLearning content.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 7+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on eLearning content creation.
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
· Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite.
· Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in eLearning graphic design.
Job Competencies & Requirements:
Knowledge / Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is required.
- In-depth knowledge of graphic design principles, visual storytelling, and the creation of visual storyboards.
- Proficiency in using graphic design software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Familiarity with the end-to-end process of video-based eLearning content creation, including pre and post-production stages.
- Understanding of studio requirements for graphic design in the context of eLearning.
- Knowledge of brand guidelines and the ability to ensure graphic deliverables align with brand standards.
- Experience in creating and implementing visual templates based on brand guidelines.
Specific Skills:
- Proficient in graphic design principles, with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
- Expertise in using graphic design software, including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
- Proven experience in designing graphics for eLearning content, especially in a video-based format.
- Familiarity with studio requirements for graphic design in the context of eLearning.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors to ensure graphic quality aligned with brand standards.
