Job description
Job Title:
Assistant Manager - Business Assurance Services (Audits & Accounting).
Responsibilities:
- Design audit approaches, conduct field audit engagements, supervise audit teams.
- Responsible for planning, risk assessments, testing, and completion of engagements
- Ensure proper documentation and review of engagements.
- Responsible for end-to-end audit execution including fieldwork, workpaper documentation, leading audit meetings, reporting, and follow-ups; ensuring that methodologies governing internal audits are followed.
- Preparing and reviewing final reports
- Review client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control and conduct audit tests.
- Monthly accounts closure and prepare financial reports like P&L and BS.
- Preparing management reports.
- Technically sound across various areas of finance including taxation and GST.
- Drive timeliness, accuracy, and compliance of financial reporting for both internal management purposes and corporate reporting
- Supports internal and external auditors and own coordination of action plans where audit procedures identify areas of potential risk or control weakness.
- Maintain Client Relationship by focusing on quality and service excellence.
- Coach junior staff on technical issues.
Work Experience:
- Should be capable of handling team, managing the timelines, and meeting client expectations.
- Should have knowledge of accounting, compliance, monthly closure activities and accounting procedures.
- Creating, executing, and documenting compliance, control, and business process testing.
Qualifications:
- Semi Qualified CA/MBA Finance with Min. 3-5 years' experience in Internal Audit or Financial closures.
