Job description
Cloudnine Hospitals is seeking an Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing patient care in the operating room. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that surgical procedures are conducted safely and successfully. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, assisting with surgical procedures, and monitoring patients during and after surgery.
Responsibilities - Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures
- Assisting with surgical procedures, including passing instruments to the surgeon
- Monitoring patients during surgery and providing necessary support and care
- Assisting with post-operative patient care
- Ensuring a safe and sterile environment in the operating room
Requirements - Proven experience as an Operating Room Nurse or similar role
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures
- BLS and ACLS certification
