Job description
JOB DUTIES:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assisting in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Managing the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork, orientation, and training schedules.
Employee Records Management:
- Maintaining and updating employee records, including personal information, attendance, leaves, and performance evaluations.
- Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and maintaining confidentiality of employee information.
Benefits Administration:
- Administering employee benefit programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Assisting employees with benefit-related inquiries and helping them understand their benefits packages.
Time and Attendance Management:
- Monitoring and managing employee attendance and leave records.
- Processing time-off requests and ensuring accurate recording of working hours.
HR Documentation and Policies:
- Creating and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Drafting and maintaining employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documents.
Employee Relations:
- Assisting with employee relations issues, such as conflict resolution and communication between management and employees.
- Conducting exit interviews and analysing feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Training and Development:
- Coordinating training sessions and professional development opportunities.
- Keeping track of employee training records and ensuring compliance with training requirements.
Compliance and Legal:
- Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of reports to regulatory agencies.
Payroll Support:
- Collaborating with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee salaries.
- Addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees.
HR Systems and Technology:
- Utilising HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or other software to manage employee data.
- Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of HR technology solutions.
Administrative Support:
- Providing general administrative support to the HR department.
- Managing schedules, appointments, and correspondence.
