Job Description
Summary: PDK Node owner is responsible to get closure on PDK specifications with design team, Foundry and EDA vendors. PDK Node owner is responsible to develop PDK infrastructure which includes all setups, configurations, technology specific data for IC design tools, Cadence DFII libraries, development of skill codes for parameterized cells, cell CDFs, callbacks, technology files, all kind of PDK utilities, IC design verification utilities/scripts, design acceleration utilities.
Job Profile:
- PDK Node owner will create Sciforma plans, PDK planning and release documents as per BCaM7 way of working.
- Responsible to drive PDK testing, customer support and tool evaluations. PDK development will be done by utilizing automated PDK generation and testing tools/flow.
- Responsible for PDK development methods and procedures for continuous quality improvement and refine PDK specifications and planning.
- Continuously drive PDK productivity enhancements and efficiency alignment across technologies.
- Work with Cross geographic team to align on way of working and PDK release planning alignment.
Skillset:
- Required experience (6+ yrs) with PDK development/support and/or support of ams/digital IC design flows/tools in a production environment.
- Experience with some of the following tools is required: Cadence DFII, ADE suite, Spectre, AMSDesigner, Verilog, VirtuosoXL, ICADVM, Assura. Experience with some of the following tools is a plus:, Calibre, Hercules, StarRCXT, Innovus, NanoSim, ICC2, Fusion compiler.
- Should have experience with the following programming languages: perl, skill, shell.
- Experience with the following programming languages is a plus: c/c++, tcl, python.
