Job description
Responsibilities: Implement and reifne manufacturing, performance, quality, and customer service standards Monitor and supervise the production process to ensure smooth operations and optimal outcomes. Manage the organization’s operational budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources. Manage and supervise the workforce, including task allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance. Plan inventory, and also oversee warehouse efficiency to maintain optimal supply chain operations. Formulate strategic and operational objectives aligned with organizational goals. Perform quality controls and monitor production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent, high-quality output. Perform audits and handle quality control issues.Operations managers may also be entrusted with significant human resource management responsibilities like recruiting, training, and disciplining employees.Optimizing workflows and processes to save time and money. Monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure quality products, including production planning, production control, and quality control. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Incorporating new technologies, operating systems, and business processes when necessary. Examine data and help forecast any long-term planning
Qualifications: Master's degree / MBA in business5+ years of experience in operations preferably within the Fashion industry. D2C experience is a plus!Strong leadership skills to motivate teams, make decisions, and also guide the organization toward operational goals. Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze complex situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions. The ability to think analytically for interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency. A mindset focused on continuous improvement involves constantly seeking ways to enhance operational processes and outcomes.
