The Job Overview :We are seeking a dedicated Android developer to join our growing company. You will collaborate as part of a team of developers to work on creating and maintaining Android apps.As an Android developer, you will need to be familiar with the Android ecosystem and mobile app development, including familiarity with popular app frameworks and software development best practices. Your duties will include maintaining existing codebases, including bug fixing, and creating apps from scratch as part of a team while following all coding guidelines and industry best practices.Responsibilities :- Design and build applications for the android platform- Optimise applications for efficiency and maximum speed- Write reusable code and functional requirements- Collaborate with Back-end developers and design team- Discover, evaluate and implement new technologies- Create functional specs and requirement papers- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs- On a tight deadline, create high-quality mockups and prototypes.Required Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or IT- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in Android application development- Strong knowledge of OOP, Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK- Minimum 1 year working experience on MVVM architecture pattern- Solid experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and other development tools- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and best practices for mobile application development (ref:hirist.tech)
