What role will you play?

In this role you will be responsible for the preparation of multiple reporting packs for the Board and Market Risk Senior Management as well as tracking and delivering other market risk activities, such as framework enhancements, user access reviews, various monthly/weekly reports, and monitoring KPI’s.

You will build strong relationships and effectively manage a team of three, providing leadership, oversight, direction, and upskilling opportunities to optimise the team’s performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference by suggesting and implementing change initiatives across Market Risk which may include redesigning market risk reports, processes, and various operational reviews undertaken to enhance the overall control framework.

What you offer:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience with reporting and data analysis responsibilities. Minimum 4+ years of experience in people[KE3]management along with relevant Market Risk experience is preferred.

• Ability to manipulate, analyse, summarise and present data/results
• Be able to critically analyse processes, procedures and policies in order to identify, propose and implement necessary enhancements
• The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, self-starter and communicates easily and openly

• Some experience of data visualisation tools e.g. Power BI and Alteryx is desirable

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and governance, regulatory affairs and aggregate risk, and enterprise support.
