Job description
1. Comprehensive Testing: Ensure thorough testing of every feature developed by the team, encompassing manual acceptance testing at the story level as well as exploratory testing.
2. Defect Reporting: Provide detailed defect information to the Scrum Master and Product Owner, aiding in defect prioritization for efficient resolution.
3. Quality Gatekeeping: Act as the final decision-maker on whether a feature is completed, ensuring that it meets the established quality standards.
4. Test Automation: Strive to automate and maintain tests, contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
5. Collaboration with IT and Operations: Collaborate with IT and operations teams to conduct tests in production environments post-deployment, thereby ensuring product quality in real-world scenarios.
6. Alignment with Product Vision: Develop a strong understanding of the product vision and collaborate closely with designers and the Product Owner to translate this vision into effective test strategies.
7. PyCharm Expertise: Utilize your proficiency in PyCharm for testing purposes, leveraging its capabilities for efficient and effective testing processes.
8. Data Testing: Apply your expertise in data testing, particularly in ETL workflows on Glue, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data-related processes.
Expertise :
- Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience in testing roles.
- Agile Testing: Proven experience in testing within fast-paced sprint cycles, including manual acceptance testing and exploratory/creative testing.
- Keen Eye for Detail: Demonstrated ability to identify hidden requirements, edge cases, and a proactive attitude towards uncovering potential issues.
- Test Automation: Track record of designing and implementing automated end-to-end tests using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, UFT, Appium, TOSCA, and PyCharm.
- Data Testing: Proficiency in ETL workflow testing on Glue.
- Test Design: Ability to design, plan, and execute integration, performance, and load-bearing tests.
- Agile Collaboration: Previous experience working as part of an Agile team, fostering effective teamwork and iterative development.
