Summary of Role
As a Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will lead and execute end-to-end recruitment strategies for specific functions or business units. Your role is crucial in ensuring the success of recruitment deliverables, managing the recruitment life cycle, and overseeing a team of internal and/ or external recruiters while working with talent agencies or vendors if necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact and collaborate with internal and/ or external stakeholders to understand hiring needs so as to generate strategic recruiting plans including developing innovative and wide-ranging sourcing strategies
- Project manage high volume time definite talent acquisition deliverables
- Execute the Nielsen EVP consistently and act as Nielsen's brand ambassador to enable the best candidate experience
- Lead, train and mentor the internal and/ or external recruitment team to fill open positions at all levels with the speed and quality requirement
- Utilize TA analytical data to proactively lead continuous enhancement and improvements to recruitment processes and practices
- Ensure global and local compliance with company policies
Key Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of 7+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with a proven track record of taking the initiative and delivering results
- Experience working in a matrix environment. Experience supporting a Technology, Product, Data Science, and/ or Operations function would be desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to build consensus across levels, internal/ external teams, and locations
- Able to exercise on the ground sound judgment and discretion in matters of significance to the organization
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a rapidly growing, fast-changing, highly collaborative global environment
- Creative thinker and idea generator yet problem solver. Able to find solutions/ alternatives and execute on them to deliver recruitment targets
- Able to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive to handle multiple competing priorities
- Savviness in recruitment technology. Familiarity with Lever ATS preferred.
