Job description
- Execute data migration tasks utilizing SAP Data Services, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data from legacy systems to SAP ERP platforms.
- Implemented data validation and reconciliation procedures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of migrated data.
- Develop data migration and validation plans.
- Define data migration requirements, including data mapping documentation.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (Master and Transactional)
- Perform data testing and validation.
- Development of load programs via a custom ABAP program or various SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC / Migration Cockpit, ALE
- Manual Load and Transformation of Data from Other System to SAP loadable values
- Execution of automated data loads via SAP or other automated tools
- Working with Functional Consultants to verify data and troubleshoot errors.
- Advising with respect to data assessment processes and procedures
- Advising and accountable with respect to ETL design
- Management and coordination of data loads
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data migration, with at least 3 years of experience in a SME role
- Proven experience in planning, designing, and executing complex data migration projects
- Deep understanding of data migration methodologies and tools
- Experience with a variety of data sources and target systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with data migration tools, such as Informatica PowerCenter, IBM InfoSphere DataStage, and Oracle GoldenGate
- Experience with data quality tools, such as Informatica Data Quality, IBM InfoSphere QualityStage, and Oracle Data Quality
