Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Financial Strategy Development**: Collaborate with IT and finance leadership to develop and implement financial strategies for Sysco's hybrid cloud environment, aligning them with business goals. 2. **Cost Optimization**: Proactively manage and optimize cloud-related costs, including resource provisioning, utilization, and third-party services, to maximize cost-effectiveness. 3. **Budget Management**: Lead the development and monitoring of budgets for hybrid cloud operations, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders. 4. **Financial Governance**: Establish financial governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines and best practices. 5. **Cloud Cost Analysis**: Conduct in-depth cost analysis and modeling for cloud resources, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savings. 6. **Vendor Management**: Manage relationships with cloud service providers and third-party vendors, negotiating contracts, and optimizing vendor costs. 7. **Performance Metrics**: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to hybrid cloud costs and resource utilization, reporting findings to IT and finance leadership. 8. **Cost Allocation**: Implement cost allocation methodologies to distribute cloud costs accurately across different business units or departments. 9. **Financial Transparency**: Provide transparency into cloud costs and their impact on Sysco's overall financial performance. 10. **Team Leadership**: Build and lead a global team of FinOps professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, IT management, or a related field; MBA preferred. - Proven experience in financial management within hybrid cloud environments. - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud cost management tools. - Familiarity with cloud billing and pricing structures. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in financial software and tools, including cloud cost management platforms. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Strategic thinking and a results-oriented mindset.
