Job description
Profile high-level job profile would fall under two categories.
PLM Application Responsibilities: · Functional knowledge · Solution design · Customization · Configuration · Data migration PLM System Admin Responsibilities: · Daily Maintenance check and validation during early India hours before Business starts the work. · Validate Vault S3 configuration to make the files check in and Checkout will happen properly that day. · Server Status using Windchill Console · Publishing queue status · Take necessary steps in server-side action based on Monitoring tool output. · Solar service monitoring (manual) · Thing Worx monitoring. Weekly (Weekend Responsibilities): · Vault synchronization if the data is not synced properly (Using Windchill JConsole) · Bulk reindexing for Solar Related for File search (manual). · CAD worker maintenance script · Delete temp files from the pv_share location - Weekly. Monthly (Weekend Responsibilities): · After each Linux patch. After Reboot. Validation on Infrastructure side (Validate storage mounts (S3, EBS), Validate the Thingworx server and Windchill Server) · Build Deployment using Git. If any issues do some analysis to fix the issue. · Unreferenced Data clean-up to Minimize the storage usage. · CPS patch update. PTC will release Patches every month. · CREO and CREO View Adapter update. · execution of Windchill Diagnostic Utility and Windchill Repair Utility. Quarterly Activity (Non-Weekend Responsibilities): · DB refresh and Rehosting to staging. · On-demand scan on the PTC site based on method server log and WT. Yearly Activity during December Break: · Purging Audit Records in Windchill DB through Windchill ConsoleJob tags
