Job description
As a SnapLogic Architect/Developer at Mastek, you'll lead the design and development of database solutions leveraging cloud tools and technologies. This includes installation and configuration, performance tuning, modeling, prototyping database designs, and ETL/ELT solutions. You will work closely with the Principal, Cloud and Platform Architects, as well as the Technical Delivery Lead.
The Expertise you Bring:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technology-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- 6+ years of experience in designing and developing data warehouse and data lake ETL/ELT pipelines
- 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, AZURE, or Snowflake)
- 3+ years of experience with data transformation tools and services (SnapLogic [required], Informatica, AWS Glue, Talend, Matillion, Stitch, DBT, etc.)
- 3+ years of SQL scripting experience and excellent understanding of SQL joins, ranks, nested queries, complex CDC logic, etc.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipeline technologies (GitHub, etc.)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
Skills you Bring:
- Experience writing technical design documents and documenting implementation plans
- Advanced SQL knowledge - required
- Ability to perform data analysis on legacy systems such as Teradata, SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.
- Expertise in data modeling concepts such as dimensional modeling, Data Vault modeling, Normalized/Denormalized architectures, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, communication, and negotiation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially within the IT community
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
