Job description
The Celonis Data Engineer will be handling ETL operations in Celonis from various sources as well as support its post-production tasks and data functionality !
Analyze source data, identify inconsistencies, and recommend solutions. Support business partners to identify areas for improvement with a data driven approach. Serve as a technical liaison to the business propose solutions.
Must have expertise to develop custom data models in Celonis and knowledge of identifying and improving pre-existing models from the content store to build on existing offerings.
Expertise in Data Extraction methodology and experience to translate functional requirements to the corresponding technical blueprint needed for Celonis deployment.
Knowledge of real time cases in Process Mining. Possesses knowledge over the Process Query Language (PQL) to build front end components to meet the requirements set by the business and build KPIs.
Solid grasp of SQL. Ability to create SQL scripts (customized) that transform, create, and collect vital fields from the source systems to accurately map out processes.
Ability to perform the appropriate data modeling (relationship between the data that needs to be established for Celonis process modeling), validation over back end and front-end findings in Celonis
Collaboration skills for stakeholder management. Strong problem solving, analysis, design skills and detail oriented. Experience with at least one mainstream ERP/CRM platform. SAP and/or Concur preferred. Experience in Celonis post release production support and break/fix.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated solution designs and to present technical details to a non-technical audience.

Basic experience with database technologies, SQL, ETL, data modelling and analytics. Structured working methods and ability to work independently with personal responsibility and a proactive approach
As a plus: knowledge and understanding of SAP ERP and business process.
Key Qualifications:
3 to 5 years with experience as Data Engineer for Celonis
Education: BE or B. Tech, Computer graduate
Experience in IT design, development, and architecture as well as in Product Management
