The position is for WiFi MAC Software team at Silabs, Hyderabad.

Meet the Team

We are involved in developing PHY/MAC layer firmware for WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax). In the process, you will get a chance to work on the full life cycle of design, development, and productization.

Responsibilities

• Perform design & code analysis utilizing appropriate tools
• Solid programming experience in C with experience in
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GIT.

Skills You Will Need

• Hands-on experience on WiFi wireless protocol development.
• A passion to understand PHY/MAC HW blocks and for developing embedded drivers to interface with them.
• Hands-on development and troubleshooting on ARM Cortex-M processors, RISC-V based embedded targets.
• Hands-on experience on IDE's like Keil, IAR, CoIDE, LPCXpresso
• Good verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and be self-driven with strong commitment to work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ years of hands-on embedded software development
• BE/B.Tech./MS in Electronics or Computer Science Engineering

The following qualifications will be considered a plus:

• Experience working at a semiconductor company.
• Exposure to DSP programming, micro-kernel code, assembly optimizations Bluetooth and Wi-Fi protocol stack experience
