Job description
We are looking for an Associate Director- Product Design (UX) for one of the India's largest software-enabled neutral freight network today.
Experience Required: 8 - 10 years
CTC: Best in the Industry
Working Days: 5 days/week
Office Location: Karnataka, Bengaluru
Work mode: WFO
Role & Responsibilities
- As the Product Design Lead at Freight Tiger, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity & user experience of our products.
- You will lead a team of passionate designers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive the design process from concept to execution.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong design background, exceptional leadership skills, & a proven track record of delivering successful products
Design Leadership:
- Lead the vision of the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
- Set & maintain high standards for design quality and user experience across all products.
- Collaborate with teams to understand business goals & translate them into compelling design solutions.
Design Strategy:
- Develop & articulate a clear design strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
- Conduct regular user research to understand their pain points and be the voice of the user
- Drive Design thinking mindset across the organization with workshops along with PM's , engineers, & stakeholders to ensure solutions meet user needs and business goals.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, providing guidance on projects and career development.
- Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback & promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Project Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from ideation to final implementation.
- Ensure timely delivery of design assets and alignment with project timelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources effectively.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Design, UX/UI, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 8 + years of experience within Product Design in B2B companies.
- Proven experience as a design lead or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful product designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
- Technically strong in design systems, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
