Job Description: Product Development and Innovation Officer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Development and Innovation Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and curating various wellness products, conducting market research, developing go-to-market (GTM) strategies, testing pilot projects, optimizing products based on feedback, and deploying products with the sales and marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Design and Curation:
- Design and curate wellness products that align with NPPD CARE's mission and values.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product feasibility and market fit.
- Market Research:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze market data to inform product development and innovation strategies.
- GTM Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive GTM strategies for new products, including pricing, positioning, and distribution channels.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Pilot Projects:
- Test pilot projects to gather feedback and validate product concepts.
- Iterate on product design and features based on pilot project results.
- Product Optimization:
- Continuously optimize products based on customer feedback, market trends, and performance metrics.
- Work closely with the engineering and design teams to implement improvements.
- Deployment:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to deploy products effectively.
- Provide support and training to sales teams to ensure product knowledge and readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product development, innovation, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of wellness industry trends and customer needs.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and optimizing products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
Compensation:
This role is offered on an equity basis until funding is secured. The expected commitment is 25-30 hours per week, with a part-time hybrid contribution.
