Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.
Process Overview:
The Global Information Security (GIS) is responsible for protecting Bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. The team develops the Bank’s Information Security strategy and policy, manages the Information Security program, and identifies and addresses vulnerabilities, Develops, deploys and manages a risk-based controls portfolio, Manages and operates global security operations center that monitor, detects and responds to cybersecurity incidents.
GIS Identity & Access management (IAM) Access Control Team goal is to ensure that the control processes and effectiveness are within the identified risk tolerance. Manage the performance and effectiveness of the working control through the establishment of metrics with thresholds. Validate the reasonability of Laws, Rules and Regulations mapping alignment to the controls, as aligned by the GIS Policy team.
The IAM Privileged Access Management Governance and Oversight team acts as subject matter experts in Service Account Management processes, procedures, and enabling adherence to IAM standards. Service Account Governance responsibilities include coordinating annual attestation, password rotation, vaulting of accounts, managing RISE deliverables, ownership alignment, leveraging reporting tools for research and account usage, assisting partners across all lines of business, and metric reporting. In addition, this team is also accountable for ensuring the processes stated above are delivering the intended outcome and result in efficient, measurable and sustainable risk reductions.
Responsibilities:
- Access Provisioning and De-Provisioning – Perform user id administration (additions, modifications, deletions) for operating systems and in-house platforms based on information contained on access administration forms, or pre-defined Role Based Access Control definitions.
- Privileged Access Management - Support delivery of Privileged Access Management capabilities associated with UNIX and Linux server systems.
- Role Based Access Control - To compile, research, analyze and document data, requirements, workflow/processes, functionality and/or controls for Identity and Access Management team, Role Based Access Control workstream.
- Governance & Controls - Enforces security policies by administering and monitoring roles, reviewing violation reports and document controls.
- Audit Reports and Inactive users report - Performs inactivity cleanup for users on various applications.
- Process building/ Re-Engineering skills - Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies, process improvements & automations.
- Risk Management - Review and Monitor the process for risk evaluation and reduction along with audit readiness.
- To support the IAM team RBAC operations functions, projects, and activities. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve established policies, procedures, and/or methodologies.
- Monitor compliance with financial services policies, regulations, and customer requirements through risk assessments and audits.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses. Troubleshoot and manage the resolution of issues related identities, systems, access, accounts, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions.
- Determine and recommend the most appropriate response to identified more complex problems, issues and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization.
- Provide level 2 and level 3 support for clients and coordinate as needed.
- Produce IAM technical documentation such IAM detailed design, configuration guides etc.
- UAT testing and documenting results prior to deployments.
- Assist partners with governance questions through team mailbox, office hours, and individual meetings.
Requirements
- Education : BE/BTECH/MCA/MSC (IT) equivalent (Any Technical Degree)
- Certifications If Any : CEH, Security+, Linux+, RHCA, CISA/CISM
- Experience Range : 5-8 years
Foundational skills:
- Expertise Identity and Access Management (IAM) managed services delivery or operations. Experience in managing security, provisioning of Infrastructure platforms.
- Expert in Privileged access Management maintenance and sustainability
- Understanding on IAM policies and controls
- Effective verbal, presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills. Good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
- RedHat Enterprise Linux system administration skills
- 2+ years advanced scripting skills/Shell scripting (Knowledge on Python is a plus)
- 2+ years Linux/UNIX experience with emphasis on scripting and automation.
- Experience with Role Base Access Controls
- Strong understanding of multiple platforms, (RACF, Active Directory, UNIX and AS/400, Vintella)
- Understanding of IAM Controls and Information Security.
- Knowledge of HTML and SQL knowledge.
- Moderate knowledge of cloud-based identity and access management solutions such as AWS IAM, Azure, AD, or Google Cloud Identity.
- Ability to efficiently acquire and utilize new skills in response to change.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong quantitative, Analytical, data intuition and problem-solving skills.
Desired skills:
- Linux/Windows/LDAP+SQL
- Knowledge of HTML and SQL knowledge.
- Experience in one of IAM solutions such as: CyberArk, NetIQ, ForgeRock, RSA, PKI, SailPoint, Ping Identity
- Good Presentation skills
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
