Job Title: Salon Accountant
Location: Mohali & Patiala

Job Overview:
As a Salon Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our salon. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the salon.
- Record and reconcile daily sales transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Financial Reporting:
- Generate and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management on a regular basis.
Tax Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Work closely with external tax consultants to prepare and file tax returns.
Payroll Processing:
- Manage payroll processes, including calculating wages, taxes, and deductions.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursements.
Audit and Internal Controls:
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard salon assets.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must have 2+ years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the salon or beauty industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing.
Salary:
Up to 40k
