Job description
Sustain India controlling, KPS Operations & Central Controlling in preparing & finalizing the planning & forecast for Toys cost for BDG/SAF scenarios. Monthly monitor of toys cost (actual vs BDG/SAF) and update the management on risk & opportunities if any. Help business decision for the implementation of cost reduction and / or automation projects. Aim is to strengthen the presidium over Surprises Planning & Controlling Cost and Stock Management. Also, to carry Polo Operation Head (managerial report) in all the economic decisions related to toy vendors projects allocation.
Main Responsibilities: PLANNING & FORECAST:
Work in close collaboration with Local & Central KPS team to understand the budgeted cost for Toys.
Evaluate the key drivers impacting the cost, any exception that needs to be highlighted from India region perspective. This exercise is to be done for all planning scenarios like Budget & SAF.
Regular interaction with KPS team to understand the requirement of mainstream & assortment toys & support the same in alignment with India Brand and Central KPS Team.
Preparing & finalizing the budget for Toys stock including monthly phasing.
Collaborating with industrial controlling team to ensure correct co-packing charges for Invalvamento gets mapped in the system.
CONTROLLING & REPORTING:
Monthly monitoring of toy mould management and ensuring the timely reporting of the same at local & central level.
Quarterly reconciliation of all the toys RM suppliers to evaluate the financial impact between the contractual price & the actual price. Timely anticipation of risk & opportunities if any to Commercial Controller.
Monthly monitoring of toys stock and reporting the reasons of variances vs LY & BDG/SAF to DCF Controller.
Monthly analysis of actual toys cost vs LY, BDG & SAF targets and sharing the same with all the relevant stakeholders.
COST REDUCTION INITIATIVES & OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Identifying the cost reduction initiatives either through some efficiency in labour cost/ efficiencies at line or in toys mold cost in collaboration with Local KPS Operations Team.
Support Procurement in challenging Vendor quotations to match our Guideline target.
Review of co-packing/sub-contracting agreements along with procurement team based on costing principles.
Fiscal regime on write-off
SAP data analytics review on trends from partners (toy cost analysis/material analysis)
Managing Invoicing for KPS India
