DOMAIN EXPERTISE: Knowledge on Capital Markets Good all-round understanding of Private Markets. Experience in Fund accounting and reporting. Knowledge of Fund of funds, Feeder funds, SPV’S, co-investment funds, institutional funds preferred

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform 1st level/2nd level review daily cash flow bookings, cash reconciliations Preparation and review of partner capital statements and waterfall schedules Prepare and review monthly valuations, reconciliations of fund draw downs and distributions, accruals, expenses etc. Prepare and review partner capital activity- capital calls, distributions, partner transfers Prepare and review various fee calculations e.g. Management fee calculations, carried interest allocations in accordance with the Fund documentation Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, bi-annual Financial Statements with supporting documentation Analytical review of accounting performed across the products Assist in onboarding and off boarding of investors and new funds/fund structures Review of LPAs (Limited Partnership Agreements) on a regular basis and ensure the changes have been accommodated into the reporting To liaise with various external and internal parties (e.g. client counterparts, external auditors, underlying fund managers, Front Office) in the day to day accounting of the Fund and other custom reporting and projects for specific investor needs Coordinate with external fund managers for any discrepancies in the information received Participate in Transformation and Change initiatives – New tools/applications/change in accounting/reporting requirements MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the Operational Hygiene of the team Ownership of agreed process SLAs & KPIs Review the complexity of funds/tasks and ensure a proper work-load balance across the team Review and assign any new activities among the team members Participate in sessions which impact the agreed scope of work for the team Participate and drive client/stakeholder calls representing the entire team Seek regular feedbacks from clients and implement corrective/constructive actions among the team Responsible for day-to-day work, process flows and constantly endeavoring to be able to lead the team from the front Executives should be able to look up to him/her for help, advice and guidance when required Directs the organization of work within the team including duty roasters and vacations etc Ensures all the records and documents maintained as per organizational requirements Responsible for motivation level and retention of manpower
