Role: Web Application Developer
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Web App Developer with expertise in MySQL and proficiency in either PHP or .NET to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications that meet the needs of our organization and its clients.
Responsibilities:
Web Application Development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop robust web applications.
Write well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code in PHP or .NET, adhering to coding standards.
Database Management:
Design and implement MySQL databases to support web applications.
Optimize database queries for improved performance and scalability.
Ensure data security and integrity through proper data modeling and database management practices.
Front-end Integration:
Integrate user-facing elements using responsive web design principles.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting:
Identify and address issues in a timely manner, debugging and resolving technical problems as they arise.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure applications are error-free and meet specified requirements.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with project managers, other developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide regular updates on project progress and participate in team meetings.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, databases, and technical processes.
Ensure that all development work complies with established documentation standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in web application development using MySQL and either PHP or .NET.
Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and normalization.
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with frameworks such as Laravel (PHP) or ASP.NET (C#).
Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Understanding of web security best practices.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Understanding of security best practices in web development.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
