Job description
About the Role:
Prepare Non-Complex and Project Local Service Requests (LSR) s via carrier applications and carrier interfaces such as but not limited to Bandwidth, Neustar ESR, Lumen, and VOIP Innovations.
Proactively manage and document internal system work tickets and milestones with LSR status which includes FOC, Rejections, and Changes.
Communicate with all internal departments, i.e. Project Managers, Voice Specialists, MACD, Account Managers, etc. to respond to customer questions and resolve LNP issues.
Monitor submitted LSR orders in our external systems from inception to completion.
Confirm Firm Order Confirmation (FOC) and/or verify LSR status received within regulated timeframes with zero downtime for our customers.
Responsible for LRN changes, creating subscriptions, activations, and verifying concurrence in SOA/NPAC.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalations from customers, sales, and other support teams through phone, LNP Hotline, chat, work tickets, and/or emails.
Create support tickets and monitor status with our porting vendors as needed on LSR issues.
Escalate with porting vendors and/or directly with ILEC/CLEC to resolve issues.
Answer calls via our Call Center. Manage and Monitor call center state in order to support our internal teams.
Perform other LNP related duties as assigned.
About you:
Graduation from an accredited college/university or any equivalent work experience.
4 years technical experience in telecommunications or a related industry required. Preferably in Local Number Portability and Directory Services.
Customer service and/or project management experience.
