Job Description: Social Media Intern
Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and eager Social Media Intern to join our team. Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic across various social media platforms.
Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media channels, including images, videos, and written posts.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct research and stay up to date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to contribute innovative ideas and strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media campaigns and promotions.
Track and analyse social media performance metrics and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Assist in managing social media calendars and scheduling posts using social media management tools.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for social media content and campaigns.
Assist in monitoring and analysing competitor social media activity and industry trends.
Support the team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity and active participation in various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Basic understanding of social media analytics and tracking tools.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools and video editing software is a plus.
A genuine passion for social media, digital marketing, and staying up to date with the latest trends.
Previous experience managing social media accounts for personal or professional purposes is preferred but not required.
