Generate and maintain a complete and consistent customer database for assigned territory (including complete address and name information, existing equipment, account qualification, detailed projections, buying influences, and other fields as demanded by role Develop creative sales strategies for all existing and potential accounts within territory, taking all buying influences into consideration together with Application Consultant Establish and maintain relationship with ALL contacts at qualified accounts (account=hospital) through visits, follow-up letters, phone calls, attending medical congresses, and alike; systematically develop coach in each account, create strong emotional relationship, create informal network within own area Support the complete sales cycle (including comprehensive product presentation/evaluation, closing, negotiating the contract, configuration adjustments, delivery, installation, and after sales support) Arrange and conduct customer site visits or in-house visits at Company Head-quarter/India Office/Customer Sites Develop regular pattern of contacting customers and related decision makers based on account planning process and stay knowledgeable regarding the situation of each account, distributor, and market; average visit at least eight accounts per week Communicate frequently and proactively with colleagues and share relevant information about competitors, partners, customers and alike using e.g. the forum provided in the Intranet; provide feedback to marketing. Co-operate with colleagues from back office Perform necessary administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner (e.g. update customer database, expense reports etc.) - Share account information with colleagues and stimulate cross selling to RT Conduct accurate sales forecast and provide data for annual budget planning Maintain a high degree knowledge through continuous self- training, including but not limited to medical -, product and competitive information Maintain and further develop a professional, innovative, and sympathy driven image of Brainlab with customers, competitors and colleagues leading by example in living the Brainlab corporate values Monitor own costs and propose potential savings Qualifications You should come with about 6-12 years of experience in a sales role with a medical technology company preferably in capital equipment like Navigation systems, Robotics, Surgical High value equipment etc. Furthermore, you should have been exposed to managing sales for at least 1 region within the business portfolio at any given point in time in India. Experience of working at more than 1 region will be an added advantage Excellent interpersonal skills are a must have for the role You should be self-driven, self-organized and should be able to perform with minimal supervision Incumbent should be high on work ethics and come with a passion to perform at ground level tooJob tags
