Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Engineer with experience in field service to join our team. As a Biomedical Engineer in the field service department you will be responsible for providing technical support maintenance and repair services for medical equipment specifically focusing on dialysis machines Xray machines CArm systems and Digital Radiography (DR) equipment. Your role will involve working closely with healthcare professionals and ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of the equipment in various clinical settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation maintenance calibration and repair of dialysis machines Xray machines CArm systems and DR equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Respond promptly to service requests and prioritize tasks to minimize equipment downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including biomedical engineering clinical staff and vendors to ensure proper functioning of the equipment.
- Train healthcare personnel on the proper usage maintenance and safety procedures related to the equipment.
- Keep detailed records of service activities including maintenance reports service tickets and inventory management.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends in the field of biomedical engineering.
- Comply with regulatory guidelines safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in field service for medical equipment specifically with dialysis machines Xray machines CArm systems and DR equipment.
- Strong knowledge of the principles and operation of biomedical equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting diagnosing and repairing complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with safety regulations quality standards and compliance requirements in the healthcare industry.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Willingness to travel to various healthcare facilities within the Delhi / Gurgaon region as required.
