Job description
Key Responsibilies:
- Dispute Management Support: Assist in managing and resolving disputes in compliance with industry regulaons.
- Work closely with internal teams to invesgate and address any compliance-related disputes.
- Consumer Email Support: Respond promptly and professionally to consumer emails, addressing compliance-related concerns and queries. Provide clear and concise informaon regarding compliance procedures.
- Client Support: Collaborate with clients to address inquiries related to compliance procedures and regulaons. Ensure a clear understanding of client requirements and maintain proacve communicaon channels.
- File Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of collecon ï¬les to ensure compliance with the Fair Debt Collecon Pracces Act (FDCPA) and other relevant 3rd party regulaons. Idenfy and recfy any discrepancies or non-compliance issues in a mely manner.
- Communicaon: Maintain open lines of communicaon with internal teams to disseminate informaon regarding compliance updates and changes. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement correcve acons and improvements based on compliance feedback.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilies:
- Fair Understanding of FDCPA & Other 1st and 3rd Party Related Regulaons: Possess in-depth knowledge of the Fair Debt Collecon Pracces Act and other relevant 3rd party regulaons.
- Aenon to Detail, Time Management, and Decision-Making Skills: Demonstrate a keen aenon to detail when reviewing ï¬les and handling compliance-related tasks. Effecvely manage me to meet deadlines and make informed decisions in compliance maers.
- Teamwork and Individual Work: Work collaboravely with team members and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance. Ability to work independently when necessary, taking ownership of compliance tasks and responsibilies.
- Follow-Up and Implementaon: Be vigilant in following up on compliance-related plans and ensuring their effecve implementaon. Provide mely feedback and updates on the progress of compliance iniaves.
- 3rd Party Collecons Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in 3rd party collecons. Demonstrate a track record of successfully navigang and managing compliance issues in a collecon's environment. Flexibility and Sense of Urgency: Demonstrate ï¬'exibility in adapng to changing compliance requirements. Act with a sense of urgency to address and resolve compliance issues promptly.
