Strategic Safeguarding Lead

Salary: circa £43,841 per annum

Remote position with occasional travel to attend sites, external stakeholder meetings and board/committee meetings.

The role of the Strategic Safeguarding Lead is accountable for:

• Shaping and leading a strategic framework for policy, service development, strategic safeguarding, and quality assurance, providing expertise and advice to colleagues and senior managers across housing and the wider organisation.
• Responsible for ensuring effective quality assurance mechanisms and systems are in place in order to achieve excellence and demonstrate a positive impact on outcomes for vulnerable adults.
• Provide strategic leadership and management, make a broad and sustained contribution to the achievement of Anchor’s one plan and Housing experience strategy.

About You:

You will have experience of:

• Safeguarding at a managerial level
• Working knowledge of the legal framework and legislation of safeguarding either within housing, or another transferable sector. 
• Ensuring the effective use of data and quality measures for robust performance management and improve quality of practice through listening to the voice of residents. 
• Motivating and influencing a range of stakeholders and manage partnerships within a multi-agency environment will be key to delivering sustainable services.
